Very bad experience
Negative: We had booked this 2-bedroom house in Madurai SS colony for ₹3624, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing and not worth the price.
1. **Very limited space** – The house had extremely limited space, with barely enough room for the beds and to walk around. There was no proper place to keep luggage, so everything had to be kept on the floor.
2. **No basic furniture or storage** – There were no cupboards, hangers, dressing table, tables, or even mirrors. This made it very inconvenient for a family stay.
3. **No dustbins in bedrooms** – Basic necessities like dustbins were not provided in the bedrooms.
4. **Small and poorly maintained rooms** – Both bedrooms were quite small, and the house overall felt old and not well maintained.
5. **Unhygienic bedding** – The bedsheets were old, and one of the pillow covers was torn, which was unacceptable.
6. **Non-functional AC** – Although an AC was provided, it did not cool at all.
7. **Poor quality bathroom items** – The bucket and mug provided were old aluminum and not clean.
8. **Unclean fridge** – The refrigerator was not clean and did not feel hygienic to use.
9. **Insufficient towels** – Only two towels were provided for four people. When we requested more, we were told via WhatsApp that they were kept in the backyard, and instead, we were offered another room for an extra ₹500, which was unreasonable.
10. **No proper parking facility** – There is no parking space within the property. The car has to be parked outside the house, and there is no shed or cover. The next day, the car was covered in mud and dust, and we had to get it washed.
11. **No room service** – There is no room service or basic support available.
Overall, the facilities, cleanliness, and service do not justify the price charged. This house is not worth ₹3624, and I would not recommend it to others.

Will avoid next time.
Negative: There is no front/help desk to contact. Need to call manger to figure out how to unlock main and other doors. Will be quite challenging for someone who's not tech savvy.
Property is nestled in residential area = min auto charge is 120.00 per trip. Dusty/hot area, no greenspaces nearby. Property is dirty/with a heavy layer of road dust. Quite a HOT PLACE, need a/c on all the time, one can see stains on the walls, and quite a lot of mosquitos. Need mosquito killer per room to survive. Found lots of evidence as a recently built place...nothing even remotely related to this being a heritage place.
Lounge, chairs are dirty, with dust baked in. One flimsy door seperates the other property, we hear every word they are whispering and once they switch on their TV... we hear all noises.
Shower in my bathroom did not work. Heavy bore well water.
The door does not lock properly as well.

Negative: My family and I were quite disappointed with our stay. The house lacked proper ventilation, and the rooms were dark inside. Though it was renovated, it still felt like an old house. On the day we arrived, there was heavy rain, and since the parking was directly in front of the gate, water accumulated beneath my car. The home was neither clean nor spacious, and overall, it did not meet expectations. Adding to the concern, one of the windows was broken, which made us feel unsafe as anyone could easily enter through it. Considering the amount we paid, the experience felt like a waste of money. This is my second negative experience with a homestay, and I have decided not to book homestays again in the future.

Positive: The home was spacious
Negative: The cutlery was not clean.... the beddings smell like rotten fish.... and the window lock in one of the rooms was broken... we had experienced a complete lockdown, the light and fans work however the induction stove, ro and fridge doesnt work due to shut-down .. as none of.the plugpoint was connected to invertor...
